Booking Terms and Conditions.

• Weekly and short break prices and availability can be found on this site. Please note that short breaks (minimum 2 nights) are available although availability may be limited at busier times of the year such as during the summer months and national public holiday dates e.g. Christmas and new year, however please contact the owner with your enquiry and we will try our very best to accommodate you. Prices vary according to the number of people, length of stay and time of year. • The two self-catering properties, Ha’ Penny Pool and The Good Looks can be booked by one party as they are inter-connecting. If you would like to do this, please email or telephone us confirming that this is what you require so that we can ensure no mistakes have been made in the booking process. Also, please inform the owner whether you require any travel cots or a fold-up bed.
• After placing a booking please email the owner to confirm your booking request and notify us whether you require a fold-up bed or travel cot.
• All transactions are made in pounds sterling. Extra charges may apply due to conversion exchange rates.
• Cancellation insurance-we strongly recommend guests obtain insurance to cover the cost of the holiday booking if a cancellation is made due to unforeseen circumstances.

Terms and conditions.

All bookings are subject to the following terms and conditions:

1. A booking deposit of 25% of the booking rate is required with the completed booking form. The booking will be confirmed to you via an email confirming the details of your booking within 48 hours (OR by telephone if for some reason there is a fault with the internet service. Once the booking is confirmed the deposit will be non-refundable and will be deducted from the full holiday amount due.

2. Payments must be made in pounds sterling via the accepted payment methods.

3. The balance of the full holiday amount is due 28 days before the commencement of the let. If payment has not been received by this time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and the deposit will be lost.

4. Any holiday booked within 28 days of the arrival date, full holiday payment will be required at the time of booking.

5. In the event of cancellation the booking deposit is non-refundable. The remainder of the balance will only be refunded if the owner is successful in re-letting the property. We will make every attempt where possible to assist in altering dates to suit the client. All cancellations must be made in writing and sent first class for the attention of: Mr R Cole, Llwyngwydd, Abbey Road, Whitland, Carms, Wales, U.K. SA34 0LH. Purchasing insurance for the holiday is advised to cover unforeseen circumstances.

6. Only the number of persons noted on the booking form is authorized to use the property. Any changes should be notified in advance and in writing. The owners reserve the right to refuse admittance if this condition is not complied with.

7. Ha’ Penny Pool and The Good Looks are available from 4pm on the day of arrival and check-out is 10am prompt on the day of departure. Weekend bookings (customers staying a minimum of 2 nights and departing on Sunday only) have a check out time of 2.00pm or can be extended subject to arrangement and availability with the owner.

8. The property is let on the basis that all guests will take due care and consideration while using the facilities and pay for any damage caused.  All damage must be reported to the owner immediately. 

9. The owner and/or persons needed to make essential repairs to the house or contents must be allowed access during a let. Where possible an attempt will be made to give notice when this is necessary but in an emergency this cannot always be guaranteed.

10. Any complaints should be immediately directed to the owner who will attempt to resolve any problems to the mutual satisfaction of both parties.

11. Guests’ vehicles and personal belongings are left at owner’s risk. The owner does not accept any responsibility for loss or theft.

12. All electricity, heating, water, bed linen and towels etc are included in the full holiday price.

13. The owner cannot accept any liability for happenings outside of his control e.g. the breakdown of electrical appliances, plumbing, wiring, damage from exceptional weather conditions.  

14. Guests are expected to leave the property in the same state of cleanliness and order in which it was found.

15. In exceptional circumstances we reserve the right to cancel the booking with a full refund of all monies paid.

16. Ha’ Penny Pool and The Good Looks are no smoking properties.

17. No pets allowed.
